Metal Clay Findings, a company who specializes in making unique findings, some especially for those working with metal clay, has an interesting new riveting system. The piercing based is domed and 1/16" (2.03mm) in diameter, so you can pierce curved items like ring bands, bracelets, pearl cups, domed blanks, and similar items. This piercing base can then be installed into the riveting tool holder using the hex key wrench that comes with the rest of the system.
